New York Altera Demo Day

What is Altera?

In a mountain city where conflicts are resolved through competition instead of war, the world’s most powerful factions gather to vie for a seat on the High Council.

Altera is a simultaneous-play, bag-building worker placement dice game where every round, you draw and roll your dice, then strategically send out emissaries to shape your path to victory. Over the course of the festival, you’ll build your engine, outmaneuver rivals, and earn the prestige needed to ascend to the High Council.

In this game, you will deploy your emissaries to different guilds, craft powerful artifacts, and build your bag by upgrading dice. There are 12 asymmetric factions to play as, and the game ends after 7 rounds. The base game supports up to 4 players, and the expansion supports 5-6 players.

Games should take 90-120 minutes with 4 players.
